Mercy Me, A.K.A. Mooford, is the perfect combination of power, substance and dairy character. She is angular, flat-boned and deep barreled. Mooford stands on pretty feet that are tight toed with short pasterns, and stands on strong legs that track perfectly square. Her front legs are straight and perfectly placed below her withers, and her rear legs are nicely angled. Mooford’s udder has a huge area of attachment, a high rear and long fore, a strong medial and perfectly placed plum teats. Mooford milked 14.1# milk on a one day test in the heat of August as a first freshener who kidded in March, and she did it without breaking a sweat. She shows up at the parlor regardless of the weather and fills the pail. You gotta love a doe who has Moofey’s kind of work ethic and does it so effortlessly.
