Lou Anne exudes power and strength. She is level across the topline and is both wide and deep bodied. She stand on strong feet and legs and short pasterns. She exemplifies my ideal of the perfect doe. Lou Anne easily milks an extended lactation. She has an easy-going temperament which makes her a pleasure to have in the barn. She gets along easily with her herd mates as well as the humans who care for her.

Lou Anne is 5th consecutive generation with LA scores of 90-92, all of which score Excellent in udder. Lou Anne’s sire was a linebreeding on one of my all-time favorite does, SGCH Willow Run Diesel Go Ask Alice 3*M 3-02 91(EEEE). SGCH Andrea and GCH Arlene were both daughters of Alice. Lou Anne’s dam Fuzzy was a 91 and an 8*M milker. Fuzzy was the most reliable milker in the barn. She freshened every other year and milked as much the second year as she did the first. Lou Anne inherited her dam’s milking abilities. Also from the doe line comes SGCH Alice (Albert’s dam) to add to Alvin’s linebreeding. Lou Anne is most reminiscent of the older A line that was the style of Andrea and Alice. Lou Anne is bred to Alvin for a deeper line breeding on our “A” line.
