Jenevieve as a dry yearling

Jenevieve comes from a strong doe line full of pretty does with high components generation after generation. We sold Jenevieve last spring as a two year old as a favor, and bought her back this spring. Jenevieve had a well balanced globular shaped udder with plumb teats and pleasing placement. Her rear udder was wide, her fore was long and smooth, and her udder was held snugly in place with a strong medial. While Jenevieve was gone, she suffered from a severe case of mastitis which left the right side of her udder nonfunctioning. Even though her  show career is over, Jenevieve has come home to work as a brood doe. We participated in a One Day Test this summer where she milked 7.1# milk at 125 days fresh out of the functioning side of her udder. It was impressive to see her bounce back so well after her extended illness. We did not take a photo of Jenevieve before we let her go last year. This photo was taken in September with only the left side of her udder functioning.
