Sire: *B Willow Run Victor Grimace Dam: GCH Willow Run Dreammaker Alma 2*M |
Al is a handsome baby buck. He is upstanding and very level across the back. Al is wide bodied and very smoothly blended. Al’s sire Grimace is the product of Victor, the 2004 Premier Sire, bred to Smirk, the 2004 National Champion. Al’s dam Alma is a very fancy doe. She is very tall, very long, and very level. The first time I saw Alma, I thought of Thoroughbred horses. She is very high-headed and carries herself with style. Alma has been shown six times this year. She was Grand all six times, Best of Breed five times, Best Doe in Show four times, and was Best Udder in Show at the Kentucky State Fair. Alma has only been to one National Show, where she was 1 st place Intermediate Kid. Al will only be used on a few does this year because we are breeding most of our does to Victor. He will certainly get more use next year. |

Victor is a VERY exciting addition to our herd.
We’ve admired Victor and his offspring, and cannot believe our
good fortune to have gotten the opportunity to add him to our herd.
Victor exudes power. He is long, uphill and very wide. At 7 years old,
Victor appraised 91 with V or E in all structural categories. Victor’s
dam Vanilla appraised 90, and her dam Veronica appraised 91. Both of
these does have PTA’s in the ideal range in ALL of the thirteen
linear traits. In my visits to Willow Run, it was always easy to pick out the Victor offspring. They are tall, long, and wide, very open in the escutcheon, and have a tremendous amount of strength and substance. Victor also has a very sweet temperament which he passes to his daughters. As though all of that incredible type and sweet temperament is not enough, he has a positive PTA for milk. What more could we ask of a buck? I am still pinching myself to make sure that I really own this magnificent animal. |

Sire: *B Willow Run Carnal Knowledge |
Snob is huge like his sire CK. He is tall and wide with lots of substance, yet very strong in dairy character. Snob is very uphill, with a board level back. He has a very long neck which blends smoothly into his shoulders. Snob has exceptional feet and strong pasterns. Carnal Knowledge was one of the prettiest bucks I ever saw at Willow Run. His full sister, GCH Carnegie, is an exceptional brood doe who reproduces herself and then some in nearly all of her offspring.. Carnegie is long and level with a very globular shaped udder. Sneer has a simply awesome udder and stands on very correct feet and legs. Sneer has done consistently well at the National Show. She was 3 rd place Milking Yearling in 2003, 13 th place 2 year old in 2004, and was 4 th place 3 year old in 2005. Sneer’s dam, Smirk, is the 2004 National Champion. Smirk and Sneer were 1 st place Dam & Daughter in 2003. Snob will only be used on a few does this year because we are breeding most of our does to Victor. He will certainly get more use next year.

Sire:
*B McQuitty Farm Aloka Dam: CH King Farm Sudz |

Sid is a huge buck. At 4 years old, he’s 40 inches at the withers, well over 300#, and he’s as long as a freight train. Sid finished his permanent championship as a yearling. Even as a yearling, I couldn’t hold Sid’s collar and reach his hind legs to set his feet. Not only is Sid huge, he is also extremely correct. At 2 years old, Sid appraised 91 overall with E in head, shoulder assembly, front legs, rear legs and rump. He scored V in feet and back. And as if that is not enough, as a bonus, Sid has a very easy, sweet temperament, which he passes to his daughters. He gives credence to the Saanen being referred to as the “Gentle Giant”. Sid has a very deep pedigree, loaded with excellence in the show arena. Sid’s sire, Aloka, is linebred on the McQuitty Farm “A” line. Aloka is the product of Ammo (son of Allison, the 1996 National Champion) bred to Aloha (2001 & 2002 National Champion). Both Allison and Aloha descend from McQuitty Farm Alice, who was a huge doe with incredible feet and legs. Alice finished her permanent championship as a 2 year old first freshener and milked 22.5 pounds of milk on a One Day Test as a 3 year old. On the maternal side of the pedigree, Sid’s dam Sudz, has many Best Doe In Show wins to her credit. Ace Ventura is full brother to Ace Velvet, the dam of the 1999 National Champion, Willow Run Satin. The 2002 National Junior Champion was sired by Sultan, Sid’s half brother out of Sudz. Sid’s litter sister, Sudsy, appraised 88(V+EE) as a 2 year old first freshener, and has 2 championship legs. Sid’s pedigree is full of promise, both in milk and in type. “Elegant” is the one word that best describes our Sid daughters. They are stylish and eye-catching with their graceful carriage. Jolene is our only Sid daughter in milk, but what an exciting yearling! She’s earned one milking leg already, and appraised 88! Jolene has high components with 3.7% butterfat and 3.2% protein. Sid’s three dry yearling daughters, Lucy, Sylvia, and Sera, have each earned a dry leg and then gone on to win Best Junior Doe in Show with at least 100 junior does competing. At the 2004 National Show, they were 10 th, 11 th and 16 th place Senior Yearling, and were 3 rd place Junior Get of Sire. Our Sid daughters are all very tall, with the three dry yearlings already 31”-32” tall. These three dry yearlings are also very correct, and all appraised Ec overall. Sylvia was named the 2005 All American Dry Yearling, and Jolene was named the 2005 All American Milking Yearling. We look forward to seeing these daughters next year as 2 year olds. |

Wooly has pizzazz. He’s stylish and pretty, and carries himself with a “look at me” attitude. He went to a 3-ring buck show at 10 months old, where he placed first in his class, was named Junior Champion in all 3 rings, and was used one time for Grand and one time for Reserve for Champion of the Day over the Senior Champions. It was exciting to have Wooly get his first official leg at such a young age. Wooly was named the 2005 Reserve All American Baby Buck. Wooly has substance and lots of bone. He’s very level across the topline, and stands on excellent feet and legs. Wooly is very smoothly blended throughout, and has a particularly nice shoulder assembly. Wooly is one of those unusual Saanen bucks who was pretty as a baby, and stayed pretty throughout his growth spurts. I expect that when Wooly is done growing, he will be stunning as a mature buck. Wooly’s pedigree is an exciting mix of the Windsor Manor and McQuitty Farm bloodlines. Wooly is linebred on Dream Maker. Wooly’s dam is a Dream Maker daughter, and his sire is a Dream Maker grandson. Dream Maker was used extensively in the Willow Run herd. Dream Maker daughters have elegance and style, with exceptional fore udders. Wooly’s sire, Scorpion King, is litter brother to Sneer, who was 3 rd place milking yearling at the 2003 Nationals, as well as first place Dam & Daughter. Scorpion King’s dam, Smirk, was the 2004 National Champion and Best Udder. Smirk is sired by Ansell, who is Legacy (sire of 2001 & 2002 National Champion Aloha) bred to McQuitty Farm Allison (1996 National Champion). Wooly’s dam, Jacuzzi, is another of the lovely Dream Maker daughters at Willow Run. Her dam, Jessi, is heavily linebred on Kid City Astrologer, who sired many nice does for the McQuitty Farm herd. Windsor Manor and McQuitty Farm are intertwined on both sides of Wooly’s pedigree. It looks like Wooly’s daughters are going to have his pizzazz. Teensy earned her dry leg by going Best Junior Doe in Show in both rings at a 2 ring show at only 6 weeks old! Wooly’s other two daughters, Trixie and Louise, were not shown because they were mid-May kids and too young to be competitive, but they are every bit as pretty as Teensy. These three Wooly daughters should make a lovely Get of Sire for 2005. |

Ray is a powerhouse! He is 40" at the withers, and weighs 300#. Ray is more than just massive, he is long, wide and level. He has an excellent rump and excellent rear leg angulation. Even with all of the weight he carries, Ray's pasterns and feet are exceptional. Ray is simply an awesome sight to behold. He's one of those bucks who is full of himself. He dances and prances his way through a show ring. Ray was shown as a yearling at a 3 ring show where he was Grand in 2 rings and Reserve in one ring over older bucks, but did not get a leg as there were only 9 bucks. Ray was shown in 3 states as a 4 year old, and he is now a Permanent Champion. Ray's daughters, competing in One Day Tests at shows, have ranged from 10.2# to 14.8# milk, with 3.4% to 3.6% butterfat. On appraisal, each Ray daughter that I have freshened has scored at least one level higher in mammary than her dam. All of his daughters have exceeded their dams in size, both in height and width. I selected Ray for udder improvement, and got the added bonus of all of this size and high butterfat.
