Lace is our first purebred, and an exciting one at that! Lace’s pedigree is rich in excellence. It promises high production with the structure and strength to sustain that high production throughout the mature years. Lace is as powerful of a doe as you would expect from this pedigree. She is the type of doe who will be productive well into her later years. Nothing throws Lace. She is as tough as nails. To complement all of her strength, Lace has a tremendous udder. The rear is high and wide, and the fore is long and smooth. Lace’s udder is extremely snug with an incredible area of attachment as well as a strong medial. This is an udder that isn’t going anywhere. She has nicely shaped teats that are easy to milk by hand. Lace came to us as a dry doe in the spring of 2004. When she came in heat shortly after arriving, we bred her to Sid for an October kidding to give us winter milk. Lace freshened with a single doe and she is a beauty. We will milk Lace through and then breed her for the spring of 2006.

Not bred – will milk through.
