CH *B Kickadee Hill Spin Doctor
Doc is extremely powerful. He has lots of bone, and is very deep and wide-bodied. Doc is very stylish, as well as extremely correct. He has appraised E or V in all structural categories under 4 different appraisers. In 2001, Doc made a whirlwind tour of the show circuit, finishing his Permanent Championship as a yearling, before he was even old enough to have a milking daughter. He also earned Best Buck in Show at the District III Saanen Specialty Show at the Maryland Buck Extravaganza. In 2002, Doc earned Best of Breed three times and Best Buck in Show twice at a 3-ring buck show where he was the youngest buck in the Best in Show lineup. In 2004 I took Doc out to another 3-ring buck show, where he proved that he can continue to win Best in Show. Not only is Doc awesome as an individual, his pedigree has generation after generation of excellence. In the 2000 competition for the National Saanen Breeders Association’s Total Doe Program, Doc’s dam, Loreleah, placed 8 th in the Nation and Doc’s sire’s litter sister, Stacy, placed 1 st. In the 2001 Total Doe Competition, Eta was 1 st in the Nation and Leah Anne was 3 rd. Entry level for this competition is appraisal score of 90, permanent championship status and 21 points on One Day Test or 2500# milk and 70# butterfat on DHIA test. These does winning in the Total Doe Program are the “Cream of the Crop”. Doc’s 4-generation pedigree contains four of these incredible does, with the added bonus of a Premier Sire. Doc is proving to be an excellent sire for us. We are pleased with the quality of our Doc daughters’ performance in all three areas - type, show and milk. Doc passes his style and correctness to his daughters. We freshened three 2 year old first fresheners this year. They appraised 88(VEEE), 89(VEEE), 89(+EEE), with the appraiser commenting that the two 89’s would’ve been 90’s if they had not been first fresheners. The udders on these three daughters scored 40-44 on rear udder height, 31-33 on rear udder arch, 34-39 on fore udder, and 31-35 on medial. What an incredible udder buck Doc is! In the show ring, Doc’s daughters are doing well. Glory finished her permanent championship and was 9 th place 2 year old at the 2004 national show. Janey needs only one more leg to finish. She was 17 th place 2 year old at the 2004 national show. Jeena earned her dry leg as well as a Best in Show award the one time she was out, and was 9 th place senior yearling at the 2004 national show. All of the Doc daughters we’ve ever shown have earned a dry leg, and most have gone on to win Best Junior Doe in Show. With general appearance having 55% of the points on the junior score card, these junior wins prove the consistency of strength in general appearance. In the milk parlor, our Doc daughters not only milk well, but have high components as well. Emerald’s butterfat is 4.3% and Janey’s butterfat is 4.5%. There are good bucks and there are great bucks. Doc is proving to be one of the great ones. Semen: 5/$100

Farm Sweet Talkin Sid
Sid is a huge buck. At 4 years old, he’s 40 inches at the withers, and well over 300#. Not only is Sid huge, he is also extremely correct. Sid finished his permanent championship as a yearling. At 2 years old, Sid appraised 91 overall with E in head, shoulder assembly, front legs, rear legs and rump. He scored V in feet and back. And as if that is not enough, as a bonus, Sid has a very easy, sweet temperament. He gives credence to the Saanen being referred to as the “Gentle Giant”. Sid has a very deep pedigree, loaded with excellence in the show arena. Sid’s sire, Aloka, is linebred on the McQuitty Farm “A” line. Aloka is the product of Ammo, a son of Allison, the 1996 National Champion, bred to Aloha, the 2001 & 2002 National Champion. Both Allison and Aloha descend from McQuitty Farm Alice, who was a huge doe with incredible feet and legs. Alice finished her permanent championship as a 2 year old first freshener and milked 22.5# on a One Day Test as a 3 year old. On the maternal side of the pedigree, Sid’s dam Sudz, has many Best Doe In Show wins to her credit. Ace Ventura is full brother to Ace Velvet, the dam of the 1999 National Champion, Willow Run Satin. The 2002 Junior Champion was sired by Sultan, Sid’s half brother by Sudz. What an exciting pedigree! Jolene is our only Sid daughter in milk, but what an exciting yearling! She’s earned one milking leg already, and appraised 88! Jolene has high components with 3.6% butterfat and 3.2% protein. We have three dry yearling daughters, Lucy, Sylvia and Sera, who have each earned a dry leg and then gone on to win Best Junior Doe in Show. At the 2004 national show, they were 10 th, 11 th and 16 th place senior yearling, and were 3 rd place Junior Get of Sire. Our Sid daughters are all very tall, with the three dry yearlings already 31”-32” tall. These three dry yearlings are also very correct, and all appraised Ec overall. The one word that describes our Sid daughters best is “elegant”. We look forward to seeing them next year as 2 year olds. Semen: 5/$100

Willow Run SK Wooly Bully
Wooly has pizzazz. He’s stylish and pretty, and carries himself with a “look at me” attitude. Wooly has substance and lots of bone. He’s very level, and stands on great feet and legs. Wooly is smoothly blended, with a particularly nice front end and a wide-open escutcheon area. I expect Wooly will be stunning when he becomes a mature buck. Wooly’s pedigree is an exciting mix of the Windsor Manor and McQuitty Farm bloodlines. Wooly is linebred on Dream Maker, who was used extensively in the Willow Run herd. Dream Maker daughters have elegance and style, with exceptional fore udders. Wooly’s sire, Scorpion King, is litter brother to Sneer, who was 3 rd place milking yearling at the 2003 Nationals, as well as first place Dam & Daughter. Their dam, Smirk, is the 2004 National Champion. Smirk is sired by Ansell, who is Legacy (Aloha’s sire) bred to McQuitty Farm Allison, the 1996 National Champion. Wooly’s dam, Jacuzzi, is another of the lovely Dream Maker daughters at Willow Run. Her dam, Jessi, is heavily linebred on Kid City Astrologer, who sired many nice does for the McQuitty Farm herd. Windsor Manor and McQuitty Farm are intertwined on both sides of Wooly’s pedigree. Wooly’s daughter, Justina, earned Best Junior Doe in Show in both rings at a 2 ring show at only 6 weeks old! It looks like Wooly’s daughters are going to have his pizzazz. Semen: 5/$75
*B Kickadee Hill Cool Clyde
Clyde is a very pretty baby buck. Clyde is sharp and angular with near ideal shoulder assembly. Clyde’s dam, Carlina, was a huge, powerful doe. Carlina had two legs, one of which she earned at the prestigious Hoosier Classic in 2003 with a Best In Show win, with 383 does competing. Clyde is a mirror image of his sire Doc. Clyde resides in Maryland with Judy Bates. We were lucky enough to breed him to 4 does and have him collected before he left us. Thank you Judy! Semen: 5/$75
